Joe is a family man who loves his bride and adult kids. In his spare time, Joe enjoys running, teaching martial arts, working out, and bonfires. He serves the Lord at his local church and with charities in his city focused on reaching out to the homeless and needy.

J.D. McCay

Agent

J.D. McCay, based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and covers Arkansas and Colorado for JMI, both places he has called home. J.D. is a lifelong outdoorsman, endurance athlete, and competitive road cyclist. He shares his time between Arkansas, where he grew up, and Colorado, where he was a long-time resident as well as where his two daughters, father, and stepmother reside.

Curtis Tolson

Agent

Curtis is a nationally recognized and respected cyclist. He still enjoys competing while still manages and trains a cycling team. He is happily married and he and his wife are proud parents of five children.

Jeffrey Klusmeier

Agent

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Louisville. He’s active in supporting local law enforcement and has been instrumental in raising money for military families and veterans in need. He is currently the Government Affair Coordinator for Operation Helping Heroes, a non-profit group that works to support Kentucky National Guard families in need.

Mona Lisa Clark

Agent

Mona Lisa has been helping families in the insurance arena for 25 years and is now working with the Joe Maupin Insurance Agency. She is thankful to be a part of such a wonderful team of caring professionals doing the right things for their clients!! She is grateful most of all to be a child of God through the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son. She loves her husband, family, and church family. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, Christian music, dancing, eating, and shopping!

Joseph Maupin

Joseph grew up in the insurance office, and started working here in 2017. He spends his free time hiking, trail running, and studying. His primary focus is on our agency's digital platforms and account management.

Alexandra Armstrong

CSR/Agent

Alexandra loves Jesus, her family, and writing contemporary Christianficion—in that order. She's worked full-time at Joe Maupin Insurance Agency for the past six years, and in her spare time, authored the Faircourt Friends Series (Available on Amazon. Yes, shameless plug.) Alexandra is currently on a quest to create the perfect buttermilk biscuit, which is harder than you'd think.

Mackenzie Miller

Commercial Lines Admin/Agent

Mackenzie joined Joe Maupin Insurance Agency as the commercial lines specialist in December 2023. She brings more than 10 years of administrative and management experience from the education, not-for-profit, wholesale, and artisan contracting worlds to the agency. If she isn't in the office, you can usually find her breaking boards in a martial arts class, spending time with friends and family, or scouring cookbooks for new soup and sourdough recipes.
